The simplification of Sports Day
Sports Day used to have three events put together;
- The Sports Day and associated events
- The Founder's Run, and
- The Nobel Cup.
In 2013, 2014 and 2015, the Sports Day only consisted of Sports Day. Upon the addition of Founder's Run in 2016 and Nobel Cup 2016 for the 2017 Sports Day, Bullseye found more grounds for success.
When this happens, Bullseye became very powerful. Even though Sports Day and Nobel Cup were separated, Bullseye won both events.
When the events were combined, it caused temporary hardship to Bullseye but Bullseye used it to the fullest advantage, which scared the management even more. Since 2024, the management is scraping off everything one by one, following the landslide triple victories in the 2023 Sports Day, 2023 Founder's Run and 2023 Nobel Cup.
The reason why Nobel Cup and Founder's Run were put into Sports Day's scores is to disadvantage Bullseye. This happened in 2017, but after 2018, Bullseye begun to take advantage of the whole thing. Hence, the management is scraping off all the events to disadvantage Bullseye.
Unless Bullseye improves on the athletics, we will never be able to win. Only when we win Sports Day, will the management start putting Founder's Run and even Nobel Cup into the equation. We can win those. Then, when they realize all options have failed, they will lose.
The big challenge is not the management alone, but the entry of new students and graduation of Year 11 students, too. This is risky because it can erase the history of Bullseye.
