Mr Trump will be in Malaysia for the ASEAN Summit. ASEAN is the Association of South East Asian Nations. 

Mr Trump needs to attend the ASEAN Summit as Malaysia holds the chairmanship, which is the presidency of ASEAN. Malaysia is now holding the presidency which it last held in 1977, 1997 and 2015.
