Ong Zi Xin captured the Bullseye banner I designed in 2024 for the Sports Day
In March 2023, you suggested the theme of Elon Musk for the 2023 Sports Day. As I had a Chinese theme ready to go for that year to please my neighbor, Mr Hing Fook Soon, as the Sports Day was to be held on his birthday, I reserved that futuristic theme of Elon Musk for 2024.
Ong Zi Xin, an athlete from Bullseye, captured the banner design and posted it on Instagram. Thanks to her, we are now famous.
This year, the banner design was based on the chalk art drawings at SJKC Shin Cheng Harcroft, the school of Chee Fooi Foon and Kuan Muk Lang. To cap it off, it was painted red to mimick the style of Chinese couplets and the Chinese New Year theme suggested by Jason Leing back in 2019. At the time, the suggestion cannot be implemented as Sports Day was in March and a different theme was planned.
We took everyone 's suggestion into consideration and try to include when we can. It's not easy managing so many suggestions and proposals as we wish.
