Merdeka Day Celebration
Nobel International School will have a Merdeka Day Celebration on 25th August 2025. The order of business, from my understanding will be as follows:
7:45am - Greeting of all teachers and management staff
8:00am - Negaraku and School Song
8:15am - Tanggal 31 Performance by Year 1 students
8:20am - Pantun recitation
8:25am - Traditional costumes catwalk
8:40am - Merdeka Quiz by Puan Halimah and Mr Meshach
9:05am - Kompang performance
9:20am - Sejahtera Malaysia performance
As part of the Merdeka Day celebrations, all the students will need to wear a traditional costume for the event. Students will need to also decorate their classes for the event. Unfortunately, some students went and purposely put the Malaysian flag upside down and were reprimanded by Ms Colleen. They eventually put them upright. Some of them jokingly put them upside down.
Nevertheless, Nobel will have an extremely wonderful Merdeka celebration ahead!
