September 15th public holiday
The government has declared 15th September, the birthday of Joanna Lee, as a holiday in order to extend the Malaysia Day long weekend to include Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (13, 14, 15, 16 September).
He said that the holiday was intended to allow people to spend time with their family members.
The opposition is able to criticize it because they had wanted a two-day public holiday for Hari Raya Aidiladha.They had been telling that in June.
