Maker's Fair
Good evening, Mr Thomas. It is with great satisfaction that I provide an update on the recent developments of the Maker's Fair.
The Junior and Senior School will have a total of 24 classes running the Maker's Fair and for the Elementary School, there will also be 24 classes. The Junior and Senior School will have eight classes running the show from each year from Year 7 to Year 9. For the Elementary School, there are two classes each for Year 1 and 2, and five classes each for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. Each class is tasked with coming up with an innovative idea and product to sell during the Maker's Fair and it must meet one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The Maker's Fair is being run by the Humanities Department and is also coordinated by Mr Meshach. Aside from Mr Meshach, the Maker's Fair is being judged by Ms Ingel, Ms Colleen, Mr Chuang, Puan Halimah and Mr Chan.
I have looked through a few Instagram accounts of the various classes. Some products are quite innovative and others not so much.
On another note, one class had copied my idea of selling veggies. Last time, I sold veggies during the 2019 Nobelfest. It was cool but not enough to turn profits.
As such, this is my update.
Great update!
