Top in the World Results for May and June 2025

For the first time in Nobel International School's history, more than six students got the Top in Malaysia/Top in the World, setting a record for Nobel International School. This is the largest Top in Malaysia/Top in the World bundle for a single subject, with a total of nine students. This is only the May/June series examination involving Malay and Mandarin only. All the achievements come from Mandarin.
Prior to this achievement, this record was last set at six students in 2023, all in Mandarin. For comparison, only 8 students from both May/June and October/November got Top in the World and Top in Malaysia for IGCSE in 2024.
The trend in IGCSE achievements reflects the shift in demographics in Nobel. In 2012, English was the main lingua franca spoken in Nobel.
Today, many students speak Mandarin as they came from Chinese schools. This is why we pivoted the Bullseye script to involve putting Chee Fooi Foon's name on the Sports Day. Had this suggestion been done 10 years ago, it would have had been criticized by the Bullseye members as something weird.
