One for Mr Chan and another for Auntie Clarine.
I joined this contest to get 2 running slots for free. KL Standard Chartered Marathon. I ran 42.195km, full marathon last year and will run the 42.195km again this year.
There are 4 categories: 5km, 10km, half marathon, full marathon. We can ask Mr Chan and Auntie Clarine to pick the one they wish.
What is your suggestion, Mr Thomas?
Let me think about it.
Currently, out of the 2, I plan to give 1 entry slot to my neighbor, Jeff Koh, who had celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday. I want to give a 21km entry slot to him.
The contest ends on 25th July and Mr Lim Yew Khuay will announce the winner. He is the Standard Chartered Marathon running coach.
Unlike all the other marathons in Malaysia, the Standard Chartered Marathon provides free LRT and MRT train service on the day of the marathon. The trains will run on express service to ferry marathon runners to the Start Line. Selected stations will open for the convenience of the runners.
Plus, this is free-of-charge entry. No pay needed. It's like being given an invitation card and free transport. You only need to present yourself.
However, after the marathon is over, you will need to pay the full return fee for public transportation from the finish line back home.
