The best way to move forward is not to blame Mr Chan or any other management member.
The best way to move forward is to make the scores too big to rig by winning as many athletic events as possible. As what Ms Bee Yong said,
"I cannot control everything that comes into my life. But I can choose what I magnify".
We need to choose what we can magnify. The only way to win the Sports Day is to train for the athletic events. Therefore, we need to take some ownership of our efforts in order to take the bull by its horns. Solving the problem of Sports Day is not to complain about how the management allocates great athletes.
We are the great athletes. It's just that we did not even try our best to think out of the box.
I decided to train for Founder's Run in order to win it, and no one thought that I can even win the race, let alone participate in a marathon and become the full marathon runner I am today.
The smart people will train. But the wise people will explore.
I hope to see some improvement from the Bullseye members in the next Sports Day. They can join a track and field club right now, represent the school in MSSD events, and prepare for the Sports Day on their own accord. The best time to practice for Sports Day is today.
Remember, the Olympics are once in four years. Yet however, many athletes are training right now for the 2028 games in Los Angeles.
