The 2020 Sports Day was planned to be held on Friday, 27th March 2020. It would have had been the first Sports Day to take place since the 2019 Bullseye Sports Day victory on 22nd March 2019. The Sports Day was cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. As of the cancellation of Sports Day on 12th March 2020, Bullseye had a total score of 1090 points. The cancellation precedes the Movement Control Order (MCO) lockdown in Malaysia implemented on 18th March 2020 to curb the spread of Covid 19.
Because of Bullseye having the highest score for the 2020 Sports Day standings, as well as still retaining the trophy for the year 2019, Bullseye was guaranteed the winner for the years 2020 and 2021 which resulted in Sports Day, Nobel Cup and all other sports activities cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
The 2020 Sports Day was the final Sports Day of five Sports Days to be coordinated by Mr Narish; he would eventually resign in September 2020 and leave Nobel for Sri KDU International School, Klang. This is also the final Sports Day to involve a theme for Sports Day, as well as a mascot for the Sports Day.
The next Sports Day will take place in 2023; the next sports competition in 2022 and the next full-scale Sports Day in 2024.

Bullseye victories
Bullseye had won the 2014 Sports Day, and had also achieved victory in the 2014 Nobel Cup, 2015 Sports Day, 2015 Nobel Cup and 2016 Sports Day under the Operation Speedrunner project. After losing the 2016 Nobel Cup and the 2017 and 2018 Sports Day, Bullseye managed to reclaim victory in the 2017 Nobel Cup, 2018 Nobel Cup and 2019 Sports Day.
Following the 2019 Sports Day, Bullseye once again suffered its Nobel Cup loss in November 2019, and as such, was unable to achieve a three-year Nobel Cup victory streak, losing to Slamdunk. Thus, the 2020 Sports Day was to be a test of the feats of Bullseye.
Covid 19 pandemic
In December 2019, China experienced an outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, of a virus of unknown origin. Known coloquially as the Wuhan virus, this virus soon resulted in the lockdown of Wuhan to curb the spread of the virus. The virus was given the temporary name '2019-nCov', a shortened form for 2019 Novel Coronavirus. Chinese authorities confirmed that this virus was a new virus
On 30th January 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of 2019-nCov a public health emergency of international concern. The virus was given its current name of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), and the disease was called Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid 19). The announcement was made by Dr Tedros, the head of the WHO, on 11th February 2020.
The virus caused disruption to daily life and also caused multiple lockdowns and resulted in online classes and cancellation of major activities and mass gatherings, due to its contagious nature. As of 2025, the virus had killed 6 million people worldwide.
Normalcy did not resume until June 2022; throughout the first two years of the pandemic, a series of restrictions were imposed, with punishments for violating them from jail time to fines.
Wawasan 2020
In 1995, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia, launched a government initiative called Wawasan 2020, known in English as Vision 2020. The aim of Wawasan 2020 was to make Malaysia a developed nation by the year 2020.
As Tun Mahathir was a medical doctor, the year 2020 was chosen because it is synonymous with the best eye vision, 2020. Therefore, in conjunction with Wawasan 2020, the Bullseye members aimed to achieve victory in the 2020 Sports Day not only to commemorate Wawasan 2020, but to celebrate Bullseye's own Vision 2020, proposed by Lau Wei Yiang and Caleb Chuang in November 2015, celebrating the aim of Bullseye's desire to become a truly elite sports house.
Post 2019 Sports Day
Predictions for 2020
For more information, see 2019 Nobel Cup
On Saturday, 23rd March 2019, a day after the 2019 Sports Day, Lau Wei Yiang released the proposed 2020 predicted dates for Sports Day 2020 in a teaser. The House Captain Election for 2020 was to take place on 14th August 2019, the Founder's Run on 14th February 2020, and the Sports Day 2020 on 27th March 2020.
There was a series of a revision of dates for the 2020 Sports Day, but eventually the original dates were re-instated. This was confirmed on 11th December 2019 with the publication of the 2020 Academic Calendar.
The predictions were initially not taken seriously until the accuracy was matched with the 2020 Academic Calendar. The predictions were improved on from the 2019 Sports Day, where two predicted dates, the 14th January 2019 and 11th February 2019 Sports House Meet were predicted correctly. In a 2021 discussion, Ms June described the predictions as being serious and that she was amazed.
Following the confirmation of the dates, Mr Narish launched the 2020 Sports Day on Friday, 10th January 2020, during the morning assembly. The announcement was made in conjunction of the launch of the 2020 Sports Day. The Sports House meets were, in a departure from tradition, held on Mondays and Fridays. The Sports House meets took place on 13th January 2020, 31st January 2020, 10th February 2020, 24th February 2020 and 6th March 2020.
2019 Nobel Cup loss
The 2019 Nobel Cup was the first Nobel Cup since the 2019 Bullseye Sports Day Victory. The tournament was to be a test of Bullseye since the 2019 victory. Unfortunately, Bullseye was unable to win the tournament. Had Bullseye won the 2019 Nobel Cup, it would have had produced a three-year victory streak in Nobel Cup for the first time; a goal that was to be achieved since the plans first rolled out in 2016 to win three Nobel Cup years. The 2019 Nobel Cup was won by Slamdunk, boxing Bullseye into a second failure of that attempt.
After the loss of Bullseye in the 2019 Nobel Cup, Bullseye was on the danger of losing the 2020 Sports Day, resulting in a repeat of the 2017 Sports Day loss following the 2016 Nobel Cup loss. Bullseye had failed to prevent the loss of 2017 following the 2016 Nobel Cup loss. The aim was to build on that mistake and regain the champion house trophy in the 2020 Sports Day.
Significance of the 2020 Sports Day
In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Bullseye had lost the 2016 Nobel Cup, and the 2017 and 2018 Sports Day. Due to those losses, there was a need to replace them following those losses.
Bullseye first lost the Nobel Cup on Thursday, 3rd November 2016, and the Sports Day on 31st March 2017. After those losses, plans were drawn up by the Bullseye members to replace them. This begun with the 2017 Nobel Cup victory, which replaced the 2016 Nobel Cup loss. This took effect on Monday, 13th November 2017. Following Bullseye's 2017 Nobel Cup victory, plans went underway to replace the 2017 Sports Day loss with a 2018 Sports Day victory. Unfortunately, the plans in 2018 failed, leading to another delay which successfully resulted in the 2019 Sports Day victory of Bullseye on 22nd March 2019.
At the start of 2020, talks among Bullseye members went underway to try and replace the Sports Day 2018 loss by compensating that with 2020's proposed Sports Day victory. This was to also recognize the amount of time that took into trying to win the fourth Sports Day victory for Bullseye. Since 2019 was replacing an odd-numbered year; 2017, the 2020 Sports Day, according to the Bullseye members, should also replace the year 2018 in order to bring compensation to those who lost in 2018 as well. Wei Yiang presented the replacement plans to Melvyn Lim who was excited with the idea. Melvyn was also very excited following the correctly predicted dates for Sports Day 2020.
First day of school, 2020
The first day of school took place on Monday, 6th January 2020. On the first day of school, Ashwin Jeyabalan and a few other students from the 2019 graduating batch visited Nobel. The school announced that for the year 2020, the school announced that it was expanding the number of classes per year level from five classes to six.
Ms Lim Mee Wee announced that the school would hope to have a wonderful 2020 together and that 2020 will be a great year ahead.
Launch of Sports Day 2020
The Sports Day 2020 was launched on Friday, 10th January 2020, during the Morning Assembly by Mr Narish. The launch of Sports Day 2020 covered the theme and the agenda for Sports Day 2020.
For the first time in Nobel International School's Sports Day history, the theme covered an educational theme and marked a departure from the covetly acoustic themes of superheroes and vague lines. Instead, the theme was focused on Endangered Animals, which was to pay tribute to endangered animals worldwide and to allow people to learn the endangered species.
According to Mr Narish, the theme was chosen for the 2020 Sports Day because the theme was to pay tribute to the wildfires in Australia which had been raging the country since the start of 2020. The wildfires had ignited environmental concerns, and the intention of putting the theme for Sports Day was to give a sense of urgency and environmental awareness; hence the crafting of the theme. As such, each mascot was to be based on an endangered animal. Bullseye was given the Ethiopian wolf as an endangered species to work on as their mascot.
Ashwin Jeyabalan, following the announcement of the theme for Sports Day 2020, posted a picture of animals and species that the 2020 committee can use, in order to craft new ideas and suggestions and to get the thinking process started. This is the last theme given by Mr Narish for a Sports Day and is the earliest effort by Nobel International School to promote environmental themes.
First Sports House Meet
The first Sports House Meet took place on Monday, 13th January 2020.
On the date of the first Sports House Meet, Wei Yiang returned to Nobel International School to meet with the Bullseye members to get the theme for Sports Day. Wei Yiang arrived at Nobel following his class at Sunway University.
At the conclusion of the first Sports House Meet, Wei Yiang presented a list of the predictions to the Bullseye members, who expressed awe at the correct list of predictions. Wei Yiang managed to meet with Zidez Raja, Aleeza Ng, Elissa Carmen and Yap Dawn to present the predictions. During the meeting, Ms Bee Yong told the students to gather inside the school compound; Wei Yiang left upon seeing the arrival of Ms Bee Yong, concerned that the plans can be inspected upon.
Second Sports House Meet
The second house meet took place on Thursday, 30th January 2020. In order to accommodate the house meet, the CCA was cancelled so that preparations can be done.
At the second house meet, students were given the opportunity to register and discuss plans for the Founder's Run, which would take place on 14th February 2020. The deadline for registration for the Founder's Run was 7th February 2020.
Prior to the second house meeting, Wei Yiang managed to return to Nobel every day following classes. He managed to meet every Bullseye member. On the last meeting before the Founder's Run, Areeya Amali cheekily joked with Wei Yiang when he presented the plans, that she will tell the plans to the other houses, causing Wei Yiang to panic.
2020 Founder's Run
The 2020 Founder's Run took place on 14th February 2020, at the Bukit Jalil Recreational Park. This marks the only time that the run was held at Bukit Jalil Park. The start and finish of the Founder's Run in 2020 was held at the North Entrance of Bukit Jalil Park, which is near SJKC Lai Meng.
The purpose of Nobel International School holding the Founder's Run at the Bukit Jalil Recreational Park was to coincide with the launch of Seeds Connections, a professional psychological and counselling service by Fungates Superflow Foundation. The Seeds Connections clinic is headquartered at The Park Residences, Bukit Jalil, at the Bukit Jalil City development by Malton Group.
The 2020 Founder's Run was the last Founder's Run to involve solely the Junior and Senior School students; beginning from 2021, the run expanded to include both the Elementary and Junior/Senior School in all aspects of the event. This is also the last Founder's Run to be held on a weekday in a physical format; all Founder's Runs will take place on weekends from 2023 onwards; the date of the next physical Founder's Run.
The full details of the 2020 Founder's Run were announced on the first day of school following the Chinese New Year holidays. Mr Narish made the announcements on 29th January 2020 during the morning assembly, and the school subsequently sent a message to parents on 1st February 2020 to announce further details.
Impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the Founder's Run
Malaysia confirmed its first three Covid 19 cases on 25th January 2020, the first day of Chinese New Year in 2020. The virus was detected in three people who had come into contact with the first Covid 19 case in Singapore, which was recorded on 23rd January 2020. The three Covid 19 patients, a grandmother and two grandchildren, were family members of the grandmother's husband which tested positive for Covid 19 upon arrival in Singapore; the four were on a holiday from Wuhan, China. The family arrived in Singapore on 21st January 2020, and the trio crossed the border into Malaysia on 23rd January 2020.
Upon the detection of the first Covid 19 cases in Malaysia, the Malaysian Ministry of Health made advanced screenings for people travelling from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. As imported cases begun to rise, the Malaysian government banned all flights from mainland China, along with non-essential travel to China, from 1st February 2020.
On 7th February 2020, Nobel International School cancelled the parents' fun run and made the Founder's Run an internal event in order to mitigate the spread of Covid 19. The cancellation was criticized for intentionally omitting Wei Yiang and the strategies from being presented to the Bullseye members during Founder's Run and that there were concerns it will impact Bullseye's performance in the 2020 Founder's Run. There were concerns that with the lack of Wei Yiang's participation, Bullseye would be less motivated to participate in the race.
The run was also further criticized for its Covid 19 approach because the park was filled with residents of Bukit Jalil using the venue to conduct their morning exercise, and that banning parents and alumni from the run was counterinuitive from the actual goals of epidemic prevention.
To address the shortcomings, Wei Yiang made a roadshow to encourage people to register for the Founder's Run, since the first day of school. Even with Covid 19 not being a factor, Bullseye would still need to get the highest registrations for the Founder's Run as per the predictions in order for Bullseye to win. Therefore, Wei Yiang tried to convince people to run. Several other Bullseye leaders made the same, from Ashley Cheah and Zi Sheng, the house captains, to Wong Rui Zhi, an athlete from Year 9.
Registrations opened on Monday, 13th January 2020, and runners were given a deadline of 31st January 2020 for the registration. The registrations were extended to Tuesday, 4th February, and many took advantage of the grace period to register. Bullseye was confirmed as the house with the highest registrants by Mr Narish on 7th February 2020.
On the eve of Founder's Run, 13th February 2020, Wei Yiang went to Nobel International School to motivate the runners for Founder's Run. The Bullseye members confirmed their registrations.
Race day
The 2020 Founder's Run took place on 14th February 2020. Students were either given the choice to head to the venue on their own transport or opt for the bus service from Nobel International School.
Students coming from Nobel International School had to line up in the school courtyard for temperature taking by their teachers, which was supervised by Mr Loh. Those who had high temperature or were feeling unwell were told to stay at home and not come for the run. Prior to the start of the run, students line up in their class lines for a second round of temperature taking by their class teachers, who reported to the Nobel International School staff WhatsApp group.
The official course for the 2020 Founder's Run was the shortest in the history of the Founder's Run. The opening ceremony was conducted by Ms Shamalatha Cynthia and the runners were flagged off by Auntie Clarine. The run was also attended by Ms Ju Li, the chief consultant of Seeds Connections.
Due to its short and fast course, the 2020 Founder's Run had the highest completion rate of all Founder's Runs in history. Tharun Rhagavan managed to win the first place ranking for the 2020 Founder's Run's Year 11 category after coming in third for three consecutive years. Wong Rui Zhi managed to finish third for the Year 9 category of the race. All in all, at least 27 of the finishers were from Bullseye.
At the awards ceremony, Bullseye was announced as the winner of the Founder's Run, which drew outrage from the Slamdunk members. The house captains of Bullseye, Ashley Cheah and Zi Sheng, were invited to lift the trophy. The victory of Bullseye in the Founder's Run resulted in Bullseye overtaking Slamdunk in the official standings. The announcement was made by Ms Shamalatha Cynthia by revealing a scoreboard erected at the fringes of the carpark of Bukit Jalil Park.
Students once again were given a second round of temperature inspection before returning to Nobel International School or heading home from the park.
The victory of Bullseye in the 2020 Founder's Run caused the amount of Bullseye victories for the Founder's Run since 2018 to tie with the amount of Sports Day victories from 2014 to 2016, making the Founder's Run the longest Bullseye victory streak since the 2016 Sports Day which first produced a three-year victory streak. From 2021, Bullseye's Founder's Run victories had surpassed the first Sports Day victory streak of Bullseye, attaining four victory years; this was confirmed and extended to five victory years for Founder's Run in 2022.
Reactions of the Management Team to the Founder's Run results
Criticism of Bullseye's Founder's Run victory by Mr Chan Lik Hoong
On 21st February 2020, during the teachers' morning meeting in the main office, Mr Chan Lik Hoong criticized the Bullseye victory in the Founder's Run in a private discussion with Mr Thomas. According to Mr Thomas in an interview in April 2023, Mr Chan "said that he does not want Bullseye to win."
Mr Chan explained to Mr Thomas that it was unfair for Bullseye to always win the Founder's Run, and that the situation had been "made worse by an alumni. Mr Chan had reportedly told Mr Thomas that the situation of Bullseye in the Founder's Run would see it winning the Sports Day. Recounting that Bullseye had won many times, he said that the multiple victories of Bullseye "had been going on for at least six years" and that other houses be given a chance.
Management team meeting on 24th February 2020
On 24th February 2020, the management team held a meeting at 11am in the management office's meeting room. The meeting was held to discuss the Covid 19 pandemic and plans for Sports Day.
The management team talked about the possibility of Wei Yiang bringing his props to the Sports Day and the impact on alumni visiting the Sports Day. The management were also discussing the plans related to the Sports Day. Ms Bee Yong and Ms Lim were quite furious as to what was happening as Bullseye was leading. "We cannot allow this to happen. Later, ex students will start controlling the Sports Day," said Ms Lim in a classified report.
The management team met to discuss measures that would stiffle alumni participation. However, the management were divided over the prospects. With Bullseye leading and doing so well, and being unable to control Wei Yiang from returning to school and let alone talking to his parents, the Bullseye movement was out of control, and the management had decided that appropriate measures be taken for the 2021 Sports Day to prevent three victory years. Ms Lim and Ms Bee Yong were hardline on alumni participation, and were worried that Bullseye could be used as a tool to challenge the social order in Nobel.
Wei Yiang's 2020 Sports Day banner
In 2020, the theme 'Endangered Animals' was announced by Mr Narish. As part of the theme, Wei Yiang intended to use his 2020 Bullseye Sports Day banner to promote the theme of sustainability.
Wei Yiang likes doing gardening as his hobby. As his gardening projects often mimick infrastructure like bridges or buildings, and incorporate plants and trees, Wei Yiang wanted to create a strong statement for sustainability for 2020. At the time, Nobel International School had not pivoted towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Thus, Wei Yiang wanted to use the 2020 Sports Day as a platform to promote the SDGs in Nobel for the year 2020, and use it as a strong statement of sustainability.
In November 2019, during the 2019 Nobelfest, Wei Yiang managed to bring his mini enterprise set up by him and his neighbor, TGA Corporation, to Nobel International School's Nobelfest. Wei Yiang planned to continue on from there to the Sports Day to combine Bullseye and environmental themes.
The 2020 Sports Day banner comprises the sustainable development goals of Sustainable Cities and Communities, Life on Land, Life Under Water, and Responsible Consumption and Production. There is a tree with the Bullseye word on it along with the phrase, "A victory for Bullseye, a sustainable future". The plans were supported by Melvyn Lim, Caleb Chuang and Hing Fook Soon, who is Wei Yiang's neighbor. Aside from that, Wei Yiang was planning other initiatives to make a statement for sustainability, but that could not take place due to Covid 19.
The banner also is flanked by a large raintree containing the words of Bullseye and the aforementioned accompanying phrase. The banner also contains a grassy field with the Ethiopian wolf grazing on it.
The banner was criticized for lacking the element of red which defined Bullseye. To counter this, Wei Yiang planned to put red flowers on the raintree.
Logistics for Sports Day 2020
Sports Day Schedule
The Pre Sports Events for Sports Day 2020 were scheduled to begin from 2nd March 2020 and run until 13th March 2020. The Sports Day Rehearsal was scheduled for 23rd March 2020, the Telematch Day and Cheer Competition on 25th March 2020 and the Sports Day 2020 was to be held on 27th March 2020. The schedule for Sports Day 2020 was announced by Mr Narish on Monday, 24th February 2020.
The PE teachers had planned for Sports For All to begin also on the same dates as the Pre Sports Events, also from 2nd March 2020 to 13th March 2020, for all the year levels during the PE lessons. At the same time, Mr Narish had also announced that the Telematch preparations would begin and that Mr Marcus would be in charge of the Telematch games. Mr Narish also announced that individuals participating in the Telematch games to register by 13th March 2020 should they express interest to participate in it. Dress rehearsals for the Sports Day were held on 10th and 11th March 2020.
On 7th March 2020, it was announced that the 2020 Sports Day, like the 2020 Founder's Run, was to be made an internal event due to Covid 19. For the 2020 Sports Day, in the interest of the safety of students due to the epidemic, the management had decided to bar all parents and alumni from the Sports Day on 27th March 2020. Students would be required to disinfect their hands and wear face masks before, during and after the event, with frequent temperature screening during the Sports Day.
The move was further criticized as weaponizing the reasoning of Covid 19 to impact Bullseye.
Wei Yiang's strategy for Sports Day 2020
According to Wei Yiang's prediction, the Sports Day 2020 is forecast to end as late as 7pm or 8pm due to a large volley of events planned for Sports Day as well as potential rainfall. on Sports Day. Aside from that, the forecast also predicted "an ugly battle for the trophy" due to anticipation that the management will conduct actions that will impact the Sports Day. Wei Yiang suggested winning as many Pre Sports Events as possible to widen the lead for 2020, and use the success of Sports Day 2020 to reclaim the 2020 Nobel Cup for the 2021 Sports Day, which would give Bullseye the first 3-year streak of Sports Day victories since 2016.
Wei Yiang also outlined that a victory in Sports Day would be opposed by the entire school excluding Bullseye members, and that the management will try to at least prevent the Bullseye victory in any way or form.
Cancellation of Sports Day 2020 due to Covid 19
The World Health Organization declared Covid 19 as a pandemic on 11th March 2020, with Dr Tedros, the WHO chief, announcing the pandemic declaration. This makes Covid 19 the first pandemic to be caused by a coronavirus, and the first declared pandemic since the 2009/2010 H1N1 pandemic.
On Thursday, 12th March 2020, an extraordinary school assembly was conducted. At the time, no assembly was to be held and all students were having their reading time in their classrooms. The assembly was called at 7:45am for students to head down to the school hall.
When everyone was told to settle down in the school hall, Ms Lim made the dreadful announcement. "I want to make an announcement," she was quoted as saying, "I want to tell you something bad; some of you may not like it, but I have to say it. Sports Day is cancelled due to Covid 19," said Ms Lim.
The move threw everyone in the school hall into shock. Chong Vanice, the house captain of Slamdunk, immediately cried and shrieked loudly, and she had to be comforted by her batch mates. Many of the 2020 Year 11 students were thrown into shock and also sadness that they cannot have Sports Day as Year 11 students unlike other batches.
The announcement came at a time where the World Health Organization had declared a pandemic for Covid 19, and Malaysia, likewise, had discouraged travel by Malaysians to five countries; China, Japan, South Korea, Iran and Italy, in view of rising Covid 19 cases in these countries. All five countries had recorded significant increase of Covid 19 cases at the end of February 2020, and Malaysians who intend to travel to these five countries would need to observe a 14-day quarantine upon return to Malaysia.
At the same time, preparations for Sports Day were in full swing; weekend staybacks and after school practices were taking place for Sports Day 2020. The Sports Day banner was halfway done, and preparations were anticipating the fact that Sports Day would take place. Rehearsals and practices were already underway for the 2020 Sports Day. All those had to be advertantly scrapped due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Following the cancellation, each march, dance, banner and committee group took a picture for the remembrance of all hard work and effort in conjunction with the Sports Day's cancellation.
Aftermath
Covid 19 pandemic
13th March 2020 was the last day of school for Nobel International School, as school would only resume on 24th June 2020 for Year 11 students, 15th July 2020 for Year 4 to 10 students, and lastly, on 22nd July 2020, Year 1 to 3 students. Nobel International School implemented one of the best SOP measures of the Covid 19 pandemic. Face masks were made compulsory, and each class was separated into two. Nobel International School subsequently constructed more classrooms and installed self-sanitizing disinfectants to ward off the virus. Between 13th March and 24th June, a movement control order (MCO) was implemented by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin, the prime minister of Malaysia, which resulted in a lockdown from 18th March 2020 to 3rd May 2020, a conditional MCO from 4th May to 9th June, and a recovery MCO from 10th June to 12th January 2021. The second MCO took effect from 13th January 2021 to 4th March 2021, followed by a conditional MCO until 5th May 2021. From 6th May 2021 until the end of 2021, a third MCO took place. In the meantime, Malaysia had procured Covid 19 vaccines and brought vaccination services to most Malaysians, allowing Malaysia to fully exit the pandemic phase of Covid 19. Despite this, the morale was low among Malaysians due to the government's flip flop of standard operating procedures and double standards of SOP enforcement. 2021 would be recognized as a fully online school year for Nobel due to Covid 19.
Debate on Bullseye's 2020 scores and 2021 inactivity
The question on whether Bullseye won the 2020 Sports Day was highly contested. From the Bullseye point of view, Bullseye was the winner of the 2020 Sports Day as the scores, at the time of the cancellation of Sports Day showed a Bullseye lead. Therefore, it is natural to assume that Bullseye was the unofficial winner of the 2020 Sports Day.
The question of whether 2021 was also considered a victory year for Bullseye was also put into question as no Sports Day was held. Because no Sports Day took place in 2020 and 2021, scores or points formalized during this time were not made official. Some clarified that because Bullseye still held the trophy of the 2019 Sports Day, it is natural to consider 2020 and 2021 victory years for Bullseye. However, planners of Bullseye's victories suggest winning the upcoming post pandemic Sports Day to formalize the victories to avoid designation of Bullseye as only winning one year.
The 2022 overall score victory partially formalized Bullseye's 2020 and 2021 years. These two years, along with the year 2022, were officially formalized in 2023 during the 2023 Sports Day on 20th November 2023.
