Is it possible for DJROA to send a letter to MBPJ to draw a yellow box at the slip road exit next to PETRONAS? Nobel parents are really inconsiderate and block the exit.

Agreed. Sometimes on the other exit ( the one from the houses)
I’ve gotten a middle finger before
. Some are nice and will reverse or squeeze forward. Some totally ignore and oblivious.

I’m told the school has repeatedly issued emails to not block the exits . Really depends if an entitled parent stops there

Sph PH did not email the school to complain. I have friends sending kids there, I was complaining how rude the parents are. My friend is the one that mentioned that the school has repeatedly informed parents to be mindful and not block the exits/ entrance. That’s why I said not all parents are entitled , just depends who .
My kids finish at the same time elsewhere so I always will bump into the queue going out , I just make do and exit from the guard house way to avoid the smaller exits coz there will be a marshal handling the main junction. It is annoying yes but it’s been over a year , I don’t wanna get worked up everyday over this . I rejoice when it is their school holiday and when my kids are on break .

just for the sake of being devils advocate-- i'd invite us to appreciate how residents also benefit from having a school nearby in the form of higher rental, and higher market value for houses here. while we are irked by something visible day to day, lets not forget the merits that are not so tangible too. the current efforts to coexist with the school might be wiser, instead of trying to displace them.

Sean King Yea I agree that a school close by could be beneficial but in this case I doubt. It has caused more problems than not, especially to the residents closest to the school. The incessant whistle blowing early in the morning is loud and irritating. The traffic congestion along SS22/11 is so bad that I had to take detours through the roads behind the shops to get home to SS22/32. To make matter worse, the roads leading to the school are narrow with SS22/11 having cars being parked on both sides making it virtually inaccessible during the pick-up periods.
When KDU was operating in the premises the problem wasn’t as bad as with Nobel. This was due to the fact that the students were of college age and more independent. They didn’t need their parents to send and pick them up.
When I wrote in to the school and MBPJ to complain about the noise from the whistle blowing, the noise was very much reduced but after a few weeks it was back to being noisy.
With these on-going issues the market value of our property could even see a depreciation, especially those closest the school.
What we need to do is when we write emails to the school to complain we should also c.c the email to MBPJ as well

I have emailed a complaint to the school and MBPJ some months back regarding this issue as well as the incessant whistle blowing. The school then posted a traffic marshaller and the whistling reduced. Recently I wrote to the school and MBPJ again regarding the noise from.the whistle blowing.
I don't think the school should be in this residential area. The narrowing of the road leading to the school is causing traffic congestion. I am sick to the traffic congestion and whistle blowing .
We should petition to MBPJ to have the school sited elsewhere.

Sph PH agree with the petition. Can DJROA Community start it?

Agreed, the number of cars is reflected by the number of students, which means operating in an overcapacity. Solution:-
1. Downsize student count. Via reduction of class sizes per form or stop preschool classes.
2. The current exit location of the school is highly unsuitable, better to exit directly into the LDP (possibly via Hindu Cemetery)
