Contents of the letter to Year 10 Bullseye members

To all Year 10 Bullseye members:

Wong Pey Yi, Choo  Han Yi, Ong Zi Xin, Ng Chi  How, Zoe Siah,  Aiden Yeoh, Joanna Crystal Vijaya, Yuri Lim, Ssarvesh, Yashie, Jan,  Si Jie  and  everyone from Year 10 whom I can't remember the names  yet.

Dear  Bullseye members,

The year 2026 will be a difficult time for Bullseye. It will mark a turning point in whether the Bullseye members choose to allow Bullseye to continue its downfall since 2024, or to allow Bullseye to make a comeback to reclaim the trophy for next year, the 2026 Sports Day. Honestly, I  prefer for Bullseye to go ahead with the latter so that we can show everyone who is boss, and thus add to the wonderful stories of Bullseye.

Those of you who are new to Nobel may not know this, but unless you were here since the year 2013, you should've known by now the number of victories attained by Bullseye. Bullseye had gotten a total of eight Sports Day titles, including the years walked over by Covid 19 as it was considered part of the victory years by the previous generation. The years were 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. We had also won Nobel Cup in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023, and all the Founder's Run since 2018.

However, since 2017, the management had planned to rig all the Sports Days.  They had planned to destroy Bullseye all along because  we had won too many times. Even all the ex students and alumni knew about this and some teachers also  know but are too afraid to speak up! They will use all tips and tricks to destroy Bullseye and they do not want you to know about it!

The management first started planning for Bullseye's downfall in late 2016. They combined Nobel Cup with Sports Day 2017's scores, changed the tournament format and also rejected Bullseye as the winner of the 2017 dance  competition. This resulted in a 648-649 lineup, in which Bullseye got 648 points and Touchdown 649 points. Then, in n2018, some alumni tried to cheer for Bullseye, causing the points  to increase. However, the management tightened and changed alumni visitation policy, causing Bullseye to lose.  The management tried to  do it again in 2019, but the diligence of Bullseye members landed us the victory.

In  November 2019, the management saw the chance by granting Slamdunk the winner of  Nobel Cup by segregating  venues. From January to February 2020, Bullseye members launched a campaign to save Bullseye, resulting in Bullseye winning the Founder's Run in 2020.

In 2022, the Management tried  to make some events easy but were out-smarted by the Bullseye members.  Then,  in 2023, the Bullseye scores were about to see an impending defeat, but at the last minute, Bullseye managed to  do well in Founder's Run.  The postponement of Founder's Run, Sports Day and the re-inclusion of Nobel Cup resulted  in Bullseye's success in 2023, all thanks to the heatwave.

The success of Bullseye in 2023 resulted in the management planning Bullseye's downfall in  2024.  They  changed the original points scoring system  to ensure that the  Founder's  Run does not dominate the tally for Sports  Day. Prior to 2024, the Founder's Run contributed as much  points as the Sports Day events. The original format, 10 for  1st, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, was changed to 100 for 1st, 50  for 2nd, and 20 for 3rd. The judging events were used as pawns to tackle Bullseye's dominance as  the management can use it to help other houses overtake Bullseye. Without the judging events in 2024, Bullseye was  the winner.

There was  also no Nobel Cup planned for 2024, and had  Nobel Cup been held in 2024, Bullseye would've won.

In 2025, the Management purposely put Sports Day in February to disadvantage Bullseye. The Management also took away Founder's Run to further disadvantage Bullseye. Without these events (Nobel Cup and Founder's Run) contributing points to the tally, Bullseye is on the road to disaster. I was also told the Management is putting more athletes in Touchdown, Slamdunk and Homerun that are good and skilled, to ensure Bullseye loses its upper hand. However, there are ways for Bullseye to win.

Firstly, Bullseye should not forgo the threat posed  by the Management. Aside from having  to battle three opponents, watch every move being done  by the Management. They will not seem obvious but it can come in any shape, size or  form. For instance, the timing of the dates, the school calendar, or even sports related activities should already tell you the clues.  Other events, such as  assessments  or even  Field Trips, can give further clues, including announcements.

Secondly, Bullseye members  should use the school  holidays in November and December to train for the Sports Day. A longer training period  can allow us to be combat-ready to face the athletic events. I  know it may sound crazy,  but as  we speak, our Malaysian athletes are training for the next  Olympics in 2028,  and Tan Huong Leong,  the national marathon holder, is training for his next Tokyo Marathon, to be held in March. So, we must have more preparations, even if it  is for a Sports Day.

Thirdly, we must turn Bullseye into more than  just a house. We want  it to be something special. Something which unites us, which is important  for us to win. And something exciting and funny, too, to motivate us to do our best.

I have  invited  so many  people to support Bullseye after  telling them the  Bullseye  story. We  have about 12 years of  rich  history. One of which is Chee Fooi Foon, a woman so gung ho and excited to support Bullseye.  She is the number 1 die hard supporter  of Bullseye. To know more about Chee Fooi Foon, you can ask Joanna Lee Ming Yee to explain who she is before I provide the whole story. Aside from that, there are so many Bullseye supporters consisting of uncles, aunties and  even my neighbor who are too excited to talk about it, all because of me,

It was me and my best friend, Caleb Chuang, who decided to  come up with a whole lot of proposals for Bullseye. Caleb Chuang is Mr Chuang Peck Guan's son. We had envisioned so many victory years for Bullseye along with many funny plans. We had also convinced many Bullseye members during our time in Nobel to accept our suggestions. I even went from class to class, table  to table and from person  to  person during break and lunch, before assembly and after school to meet, propose, consult and repeat to a certain extent that everyone accepted the plans. These led to Bullseye winning so many events in Nobel and so many Sports Days, Nobel  Cups and  Founder's Runs.

Thus, in moving  forward, I hope to present to you a few suggestions and proposals to aid the  journey of Bullseye to become the winner of Sports Day, Nobel  Cup and  Founder's Run in 2026.

2026 marks 10 years since  Bullseye's 2016 Sports Day  victory. It also is  the last of 3 years of  Bullseye victory from 2014 to 2016. As many as much generations of Bullseye members had looked forward to doing so in 2024. It was Nobel's 20th Anniversary and the 10th anniversary of Bullseye's first Sports Day victory which started it all. We also wanted to celebrate Bullseye apart from Nobel as the crown centerpiece of the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 victories. We need to make it happen for 2026. Two  Sports Day victories  ten years apart, with 2026 being then years since the first Founder's Run. We need  to make it happen for 2026. All  the  Bullseye members will love it.

Secondly, we need to normalize 'Hail to Bullseye' as a slogan.  'Go Bullseye' is good, but  'Hail to Bullseye' is better as it can be a greeting, a meme, and a  phrase used in  almost everything. It  is also striking, cool and motivatig.

Thirdly, we need to know the history of Bullseye and the notion behind it. Visit www.bullseyemustwin.blogspot.com to know more. And Mr Ryan is an alumni of Nobel and the 2015 athletics captain of Bullseye. He  can tell you more.

Lastly, pass this message to the Bullseye members. Do not attempt to share this with Teh Szi Wei, Caleigh Chan Li  Ern, Josiah Tsen, or  any other  prominent opponent of Bullseye unless you want Bullseye to lose. I have strategized with past Bullseye members to win all those victory years ever since I was in Year 8. In fact, when you ask Joanna Lee Ming Yee to explain who Chee Fooi Foon is, tell her that you only want to know the background and history of Chee Fooi  Foon. Don't show her this. Of course, I know who Chee Fooi Foon is but  it is more convincing  and exciting if  Joanna explains Chee  Fooi  Foon to you.

This letter  can be the lifesaver of Bullseye. It  can create and evolve the  legacy  of Bullseye.  If we are successful, future generations will thank all of us in Bullseye for making the right decision to  read it. When Bullseye lifts  the trophy in 2026, 2027 and 2028, give yourselves a pat on the  back for believing in the spirit  of this letter and your own capabilities. You make the decision as to the destiny of Bullseye. Good luck, all the best and Hail to Bullseye.

I am reachable at @weiyiang on Instagram or  by WhatsApp at 011-2882-9278 if you want  clarification

Yours sincerely,
Lau Wei Yiang
