Briefing for Founder's Run
Before the Marathon
Students are advised to come with light breakfast from home. No heavy food to be eaten early in the morning. Students are also encouraged to rest and sleep early for the run. They are suggested to bring a towel, change of clothes (if needed) and lots of water.
Upon arrival at Bukit Kiara, parents who arrive may park their cars at the designated carpark. For students arriving by bus, they will be bussed from school to the carpark outside Bukit Kiara. Once everyone arrive, the students will be brought to the assembly area which is near the starting line. Attendance will be taken by teachers before the start of the run.

During the Run
Students begin to run after the horn is sounded. They should pace while running. They should follow the designated route below. Students who go off course may be disqualified and points deducted from their house. To complete the run, students will need to record themselves at checkpoints set up across the marathon route.

After the Run
Students who finish within the top 10 will need to register at the winners' counter provided at the finish line. Once students finish, they will be provided with a certificate of completion as a token of appreciation for completing the run.

Water Stations
A total of five water stations will be stationed at the route of the run to provide for water supply. Cut off time to complete run is at 10:30am.

Our Plans
For Founder's Run 2023, we will do a 20km marathon and show it off to Aunty Clarine. We will do our own warm up ceremony and flag off first, to prevent Covid 19 and also because the 20km marathon is very long as opposed to the 5km. So what we will do is flag off at around 7:55am. Nobel has not conducted a run that is more than 5km since 2019.

Should the 20km marathon not be available for parents, we won't register and we will run on our own. It's useless to register if the result and stamina are same.

For the first 15km, we will run on our own and then once the crowd from the starting line is already flagged off, we will need to make sure that we flag off at the correct time for our 20km, so that the last runner is already leaving the starting line for 5km and we will try to overtake them all in one swoop from the back to the front. So for this, we will run the 5km route four times. After running the first three times, the fourth time will be a test of endurance to see if we can overtake everyone in one sweep. If we do, then we are so good!!!!!

The goal is to run 20km without stopping or having a break at a water station, within (and hopefully less than) 1.5 hours, and also, we should be able to overtake everyone quickly at the end.

Once we finish, we record the scores with the Bullseye people. If we're lucky and have enough energy, we can do an additional 10km to make a 30.
