The trend of 6-7 (SIX-SEVEN) has caught up among Gen Alpha (those born from 2010 to 2024). The pronunciation is based on a section of the song Doot Doot in which 6-7 was mentioned in the lyrics. A boy at a high school basketball game shouted this lyrical phase which increased the trend. 

Why do folks like to say SIX-SEVEN? This is because the way of saying SIX-SEVEN is considered very funny and it is because of the humor of the boy did the word SIX-SEVEN caught up to fame. People like to cheer when the numbers 6 or 7 come up because of the humor the numbers make when associated with saying SIX-SEVEN in a funny manner. Although it is not funny to most people, it will become funny if you say it in a bombastic and hillarious manner. 

Expect kids to say SIX-SEVEN. It's only hillarious if you say it in a funny manner, or a very bombastic manner. And this makes people seeing the number 6, 7, 76 or 67 catch one's eyes, so they yell, SIX SEVEN!

SIX SEVEN should be the saviour of Bullseye from its loss and the start of the Bullseye 3.0 victory streak, after Bullseye 1.0 from 2014 to 2016, and Bullseye 2.0 from 2019 to 2023.

Proposed government ban on social media for under 18s in Malaysia.

 The Communications and Multimedia Ministry has banned social media for individuals aged 17 and below. Identity checks will be rolled out to prevent the misuse of identity for social media in Malaysia by teens. 

Prior to 2018, anyone can message anyone on Instagram without any issue, even without permission, and that particular individual can send a reply message. However, since 2019, Instagram had rolled out numerous features to ensure the safety of minors on the Internet. This, amongst others, includes a restriction on directly messaging the individual. 

This ban makes it impossible for anybody to message or communicate with students in Nobel International School who are bound to give or receive information about the school. Teachers will not be readily available to give information as they have their own commitments. This is feared to affect our preparations for the 2026 Sports Day.

The ban on social media for teens is expected to start on 1ST JANUARY 2026.
